About Us
Partnership Investment Finance (‘PIF’) was established in 2004 as the Loan and
Investment fund for Yorkshire, The Humber, and North Lincolnshire, to enable
small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) and social enterprises access to gap
funding by way of equity or loan finance for a fixed period to 31 December 2008.
The original fund comprised investments from UK and European government agencies
as well as investments from YFM Group. Follow on funding was provided by Yorkshire
Forward at the beginning of 2009, and this is now fully committed.
LENDING HAS NOW CEASED.

The next 5 years will see PIF managing its loan and investment portfolio, so
that once private sector lenders have been repaid, a Legacy Fund will be available
for the region, and lending and investing will start again.
