Since it was set up in 2007, the Leeds Brewery has won a strong following of
real ale enthusiasts from across
Managing Director Sam Moss said: “Since we launched the brewery we have concentrated
on creating the best possible ales. Within our small team we have a wealth of
experience which means that we can ensure every aspect of the brewing process
comes up to the highest standards.
“Alongside the finest malt and hops we use a unique strain of
Leeds Brewery’s early success saw demand for the ales soar and the company quickly
needed extra production capacity to maintain growth level.
Meanwhile, the brewery had also acquired two premises which were being converted
to gastropubs in
Mr Moss said: “Our main challenge was to keep up with the growing demand for
the beers were producing. We had also acquired two outlets which would act as
beacons for our brands.”
However, the company required further external funds if it was to realise its
ambitions, so Mr Moss turned to Partnership Investment Finance.
PIF quickly saw the potential of Leeds Brewery and agreed to a £43,000 loan for
the company.
The funding from PIF will be used to further expand the capacity of the brewery
including the development of a lager brewing facility. Further funding will be
used to market the brands through dedicated point of sale materials.

beers at the Leeds Brewery and the quality of their ales has already established
a strong following among discerning drinkers and the basis for a robust business.”
