ETHOS SURFACE SOLUTIONS INVESTS IN NEW MACHINERY
Ethos Surface Solutions, a specialist company in flooring systems for the commercial
and industrial sectors, has secured a £48,000 investment from Partnership Investment
Finance.
Scunthorpe-based Ethos Surface Solutions will use the cash to invest in plant
and machinery to support its continued expansion.
The company provides a range of resin flooring applications for clients such
as Marks & Spencer in the retail sector and several blue chip clients in the
industrial sector.
Partnership Investment Finance is a £37m investment fund aimed at supporting
growing businesses in Yorkshire and Humber. It aims to encourage enterprise and
economic regeneration by providing equity investments and loans to eligible businesses
in the region’s Objective 2 areas.
Ethos Surface Solutions Managing Director John Clayton said: “We have installed
floors in aircraft hangars, factories and on the bridge decks of ships and we
operate throughout the UK.
“Established in 1987 Ethos Surface Solutions brings its specialist knowledge
and experience to the flooring industry and our management team has more than
50 years experience in our field.”
Partnership Investment Finance Lending Manager Peter Caffrey, said: “This is
one of several companies we have supported in the Scunthorpe area – we recently
invested £1.4m in specialist training provider 7KS. Ethos Surface Solutions is
a very solid business with a strong track record and an excellent profile in its
sector.”
